Adoption fees vary for each animal and range from $25 to $450. The lowest fees are generally for seniors or difficult-to-place animals and the highest are for puppies.
The fee for each pet is in their profile. You can view the adoption fee for a specific pet by clicking on their profiles.
Ask about discounts for adopting more than one pet at the same time.
All pets adopted through SPCHS go home with the following benefits:
- All pets are spayed or neutered
- Cats and dogs go home with a microchip registered to the new owner
- Cats and kittens receive a FIV/FeLV test
- All animals receive initial core vaccinations
- Cats and dogs over 4 months have their first rabies vaccination
- As needed, pets receive de-worming treatment, flea treatment, and other medical care
- Free Veterinary Exam: You will receive a certificate for a complimentary exam, at participating veterinary clinics, good for 14 days after the adoption.
- Coupons: As available, we will include Dennis Company ACE and other discount coupons in your adoption folder.
