Maximize Your Impact

Do you work for a match-maker?  Many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees? And that some companies will even match to spouses and retirees? Ask if your employer will double or even triple your donations to SPCHS.

And don’t forget year-end giving.  What you donate here could come back to you in a tax reduction.  Talk with your tax preparer for information.

IMPORTANT

South Pacific County Humane Society is a private, 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

SPCHS does not receive government support or funding from national humane organizations.

What are matching gifts?

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.

When an employee makes a donation, they can request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation.

Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio!

Find out if your employer has a match program

You might be leaving money on the table!

If your employer doesn’t have a match program, they could be willing to start one.  It never hurts to ask!

Do you match?

SPCHS is supported entirely from private donations from individuals and businesses. We depend upon the generosity of caring people like you to continue our life-saving work.

If you’re deciding where to give as the year ends and tax season begins, please ponder giving to our happy little no-kill shelter!

We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and will provide you with an appropriate receipt.

Thank you for your consideration!
