Desensitization Practice
Sugar is working with trainer Cheryl on desensitization to some of the sounds that he grew reactive to in Long Beach.
As you can see, he’s made tremendous progress!
The first video shows how drones and other high-pitched, whirring noises are no longer troublesome to our boy, then you can see how calm he is near the road with cars passing. Way to go, Sugar!
Sugar is doing so well working with Chelsea, they have a wonderful bond. She continues to help build Sugar’s resilience and so equip him to be ready to live happily and calmly in the world.
