This October, enjoy the best grub the Peninsula has to offer- and at the same time, help the cats and dogs at the South Pacific County Humane Society!
Throughout the month, participating local restaurants will feature special menu items benefiting the shelter. When you order one of these featured dishes or beverages, a donation will be made to help provide shelter, medical care, and love to animals waiting for their forever homes.

Duke is the inspirational dog of David & Jessica Anderson. One day David was playing fetch on the beach with Duke and Duke made an amazing catch 6 feet in the air. David looked at Duke, then to the sea and the heaven and had a flash of inspiration which became Dog-O-Rama. After playing catch, they went back home and in 5 minutes drew out the plan for Dog-O-Rama. And it all began with Duke catching a ball.

3 drinks all themed after canine celestial bodies: Sirius, Procyon, & Gomesia. All three drinks feature Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Rum- the namesake for the owner’s eldest dog!

Meet Stiggins, Rooster, and Tiny!
Stiggins is named after the Reverend Stiggins from the Charles Dickens Pickwick Papers, also the namesake for Planteray’s Fancy Pineapple Rum. He’s a 10-year-old Poodle, Shih Tzu and Cocker Spaniel mix… although he tells everyone he’s a West Indies Trader (hehehe). Ball is life. Treats are life.
Rooster and Tiny are a bonded pair of Poodles rescued from the humane society. Rooster is 7 years old, while Tiny is 5. Rooster loves to watch the fence line for interlopers and will play ball until you collapse. Tiny, meanwhile, is an instigator, loyal to no one except the person that is right in front of them.
