Oct 24, 2010: Open House

Please join us for the

South Pacific County Humane Society Open House

Sunday the 24th of October
from 11:30 am to 3 pm

Noon – The BIG RAFFLE Drawing is finally here!

We can’t thank you, our community, for your continued support of the South Pacific County Humane Society. Your financial support helps with the costs of taking excellent care of, and finding homes for, pets in need. You can be assured your support will make all the difference in the world for hundreds of animals this year. Finding the right homes for pets takes patience and professionalism and the fine group of staff and volunteers here at SPCHS does an incredible job finding forever homes for animals and companions for people. Shelter staff and volunteers do so much more than take care of homeless dogs and cats. They provide needed medical care and are responsible for hundreds of spays and neuters. They foster special-needs animals, providing more than 3 tons of food and litter, coaching, teaching, intervening in cases of cruelty and neglect, increase awareness, build fences, put smiles on faces, wags in tails and purrs in hearts, among other things.

Sunday, the 24th of October, the Shelter doors will be open for tours so you can see the Shelter first-hand and meet some of our dedicated staff and volunteers.  We invite your questions, comments and suggestions as you learn exactly how the money you contribute turns into care and love for the animals.

Please join us from 11:30 am to 3 pm Snacks and beverages will be provided.
