Nov 15, 2009: Open House
Please join us for the
South Pacific County Humane Society
Open House
Sunday the 15th of November
from noon to 3 p.m.
Thank you for your continued support of your community-funded no-kill shelter, the South Pacific County Humane Society. Your membership helps with the costs of taking excellent care of, and finding homes for, pets in need. You can be assured your support will make all the difference in the world for hundreds of animals this year.
Finding the right homes for pets takes patience and professionalism and the fine group of staff and volunteers here at SPCHS does an incredible job finding forever homes for animals and companions for people. Shelter staff and volunteers do so much more than take care of homeless dogs and cats. They’ve provided needed medical care and have been responsible for hundreds of spays and neuters. They’ve fostered special-needs animals, provided more than 3 tons of food and litter, coached, taught, intervened in cases of cruelty and neglect, increased awareness, built fences, put smiles on faces,
wags in tails and purrs in hearts, among other things.
Sunday, the 15th of November, the Shelter doors will be open for tours to members. See the Shelter first-hand and see exactly how the money you contribute turns into care and love for the animals. Please join us from noon to 3 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
