Meet E.D. Jeannette Sterling

In July of 2011, the Board created an Executive Director position for SPCHS.   Because she was retiring from Washington County, Oregon, following 25 years in animal services, and could afford a nearly 50% pay cut, Jeannette Sterling applied for the job.  Her experience, certifications and skill set were far greater than any other applicant and her reviews from former employers, employees, co-workers and professional references were stellar.  The Board selected Jeannette for the position, and she accepted.

At the time of this writing, the Board has experienced Jeannette first-hand for the better part of a year.  We join her former employers, co-workers, and employees in finding her to be hugely qualified for the job.  We are proud to have her as our Executive Director and feel lucky to have someone of her caliber serving as our Executive Director.

We invite you to stop by the Shelter to say hello, or give her a call to make an appointment to get to know Jeannette!

Yours in Service,

The 2012 Board of Directors of the South Pacific County Humane Society
