Abbey (aka Christy) Update

I’d like to share some wonderful photos of Abbeys’ on her 6-month anniversary with us.

My husband & I had recently lost our beloved 12 year old white German shepherd to lymphoma and saw Abbeys’ adorable photo in the Bow Wow [News]. We anguished over the “baggage” of adopting a stray but felt like if she would give us a chance we could go that extra mile for her

So over the bridge from Cannon Beach we went- through the ice, and horizontal winds over the Christmas holiday storms to meet Diana and our future member of our family.

I’m so pleased to say that her pros far outweigh her cons & we are delighted every day that she is with us. We’ve so enjoyed her sparkle as she explores new territories (beach, mountains, and so much more!!) and develop into such a delightful companion.

I’d also like to extend a special thank you to you & your volunteers for all the work you do for these very special animals.
