Bitty and Elliot: Twin dogs looking for home together
Ok, so it’s obvious these two nice dogs aren’t truly twins- Bitty is a small terrier mix and Elliot is a hound/lab mix. But, they have been long-time best friends that have enjoyed each other’s company for ten years. That is, until a new landlord said “no” and they ended up, frightened and confused, in a shelter.
We took them in, hoping that we can find them a home together- how sad it would be to break them up after ten years! Elliot is very kind and patient with Bitty, and has been heard to calmly say “yes, dear, yes dear” when Bitty bosses him around. One can truly see how fond they are of each other, when they are seen sleeping so close together. Both are housetrained, and have easy-going, affectionate dispositions.
Sometimes it can be hard to decide: do we want a small dog or a larger dog? If you take this wonderful pair into your home, you can have both! We so much want them to go together, that they are sponsored and can be adopted for a reduced fee. Please think about giving these two friends a home together where they can spend their golden years!
Shelter Wish List
We still have quite a few kittens, but are running out of Purina Kitten Chow (in the yellow bag). Our adult kitties are also getting short of dried food, and would be very grateful to receive donations of some munchies! We will probably have kittens at the shelter into winter, and these little guys seem to thrive on a diet of Kitten Chow. Thank you so much for helping.
